When talking about casino, one can also talk about casino party. But when this is the subject, there are myths that arise in it. There are common myths when it comes to this topic and they are synthesized into seven myths.
Myth #1- casino parties are illegal
Many people are having an analogy that since casino parties are illegal, then therefore gabling would also be illegal in some states. But there would also be applied restrictions especially if the reason for the casino party is for fund raising. In gambling, true money is used especially in exchange for chips and other things too. In playing casino party, one is actually not making use of true money; instead play money, in exchange with chips that are with no equal exchange to the participants. Therefore, we can say that since casino party makes no use of use money then this is not called as gambling.
Myth #2- casino parties are expensive
People are saying that compared with other form of entertainment, casino party is more expensive. They would even say that casino party is synonymous to a bargain. But have you compared the price that is imposed by those in the theatres for tickets to the price if you are attending a casino party? You would apparently see the fact that casino party is indeed not expensive, it is just reasonable.
Myth #3- the difficulty of casino party to be organized and managed
The truth is, the casino rental in companies will not be leaving you all alone but they would provide you with someone who is capable of managing casino dealers, facilitating price giveaways, and running the event. This person is known as the Pit Boss.
Myth #4- the challenges faced in casino parties especially in the issue of the location
It is no doubt that location is an important ingredient when it comes to the success of a casino party. But finding an ideal location would not be synonymous to finding a place that is expensive and elegant. But this would not be a good idea at all. I fact, you can have casino party in private homes, buildings, empty office, hotels, warehouses, garages, basements, veteran’s hall, clubhouses, and even in a pole barn located I the middle of a pasture. Location doesn’t really matter when it comes to casino party.
Myth #5- number of guests
The saying the more the merrier is true but for casino parties, it is not. You can actually go with it with just a few. What you all need is to adjust the number of the tables to the people who will attend.
Myth #6- no knowledge of how to lay the casino games
One needs not worry whether he knows or doesn’t know how to lay the game since there would be someone from the party dealers who would explain things over. The most common thing that they would teach would b betting. But of course, they will not be able to teach you how to win; it would be your effort that will define it.
